How the Digital SAT Score Estimator Works

The site provides broad planning ranges from practice-test correct answers. It does not reproduce the official scoring model.

Three steps

  1. 1. Enter module results

Math has 22 questions per module. Reading and Writing has 27 questions per module.

  2. 2. Compare with broad planning bands

The estimator groups total correct answers into broad ranges. It does not determine the easier or harder Module 2 route.

  3. 3. Treat the result as an estimate

Official scoring also considers question characteristics and the specific test form, so the final score may differ.

What this estimator does not claim

  • It does not use an official College Board conversion table.
  • It does not know a universal routing cutoff.
  • It does not assign a fixed point value to each question.
  • It does not replace an official Bluebook or SAT score report.
